Kanna's Big Success

Not satisfied with the way she looks, Kanna Kannazuki goes under the knife for a complete makeover and transforms into a great beauty. She lands a job at the Kameido Shokai and takes her cues from a beautiful colleague and finvds everything she ever dreamed of having. When she's promoted to project leader, someone from her past shows up, and her secret may just be exposed.

**Excited to watch this movie later. It reminds me of the Korean movie 500 Pound Beauty. Yu Yamada looks like she did a great job for the role. I have loved her since I saw her Gokusen 3. And she also sang here. Can't wait!! ^^

No Money for the Children

A cartoon I found on an issue of the Philippines Free Press dated January 10, 1987. The article was a collection of cartoons printed on specific key dates in Philippine history. The one I posted shows the exact date it was first published. Though it is over 50 years now, the cartoon still shows the reality of today's government. Corrupt officials having enough for their puppets but none for the children. No changes. What a shame!

I watched this movie with my girlfriends Saturday night. LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Anna Faris is simply hilarious and Chris Evans... omg... to die for. Soooo HOT! Rawrrrrrr!!!

Very funny with a very sweet ending. This is definitely one movie that best describes a romantic comedy! A must watch. I bet I'll watch this over and over once I get a hold of the DVD copy.
